Jennifer Aniston, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Lopez Participate in Paparazzi Doc

Longtime rock and roll photographer, red carpet fixture and WireImage co-founder Kevin Mazur is turning the lens on his own industry, chronicling the rise of the modern-day paparazzi in his first documentary, $ellebrity. The topic is a perfect fit. After all, WireImage (acquired in 2007 by Getty Images) is famous for shooting the stars at awards shows, onstage and on the street. Mazur started the project two years ago with encouragement from Marc Anthony. “We’re friends,” Mazur tells The Hollywood Reporter, and he said, ‘Nobody Knows this business better than you.’ ” So Anthony, wife Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Aniston, Sarah ...

Music Review: Red River Blue

Where did all the good ole boys go? Blake Shelton asks that question on Red River Blue, but maybe he should answer it himself. Over the past year, the rebel-flag-flyin’, moonshine-spittin’, yee-haw-shoutin’ Okie from 2010′s Hillbilly Bone and All About Tonight has settled down, with a steady job judging NBC’s The Voice and a marriage to fellow crooner Miranda Lambert. Newly nesting and fresh from his pop-crossover hit ”Honey Bee,” he is lost some rascal magnetism, but he is winning sweetness points, harmonizing with the missus on the title track, offering to make dip for her ”tater chips,” and insisting, ...

Matt Pinfield on the Last Days of WRXP and the New Era of ’120 Minutes’: ‘Rock Is Alive and Well’

Thursday marks the final broadcast of New York rock station WRXP 101.9, which burst onto the terrestrial radio scene three years ago with a bold plan to play a mix of arena-rock titans, indie bands on the rise and local talent and finally create a bonafide music community in the city that gave birth to The Ramones and Velvet Underground. The strategy was working. Since 2008, RXP’s cume had grown to 2.3 million and in its last months, it reached a 3.6 share, making it the sixth largest station among men 18 to 49.

The Sea of Memories will be released on their very own Zuma Rock Records through an exclusive partnership with eOne music.

Music Review: All of You

The Malibu songbird’s sound — full of carefree acoustic strums and beach-ready romance — is built for blandness, so her greatest struggle has always been breaking through all that aggressive pleasantness. Luckily, her third album, All of You, proves there is more to her than a smile and a hair toss. Caillat plays with rhythmic touches (the high-spirited handclaps on ”Brighter Than the Sun”) and adds a dollop of country heartbreak to both her voice and her lyrics. On the ruminative title track, for example, world-weary pathos practically drips off the line ”I’m
no good at guessing.” Nothing here ...

VIDEO: Stevie Nicks, Miranda Lambert, OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, and Train’s Pat Monahan Hit Up ‘The Voice’ First of all, she’s coming out with a new album called Four The Record, which the deep country star states has “a lot of meanings.” To add more meaning to the album’s release (or maybe to make it easier for us to remember), the album releases on “11-1-11,” which GMA’s Lara Spencer very astutely points out, “I like how that’s all ...
