A first for Koel
Tollywood heroine Koel Mallick was invited to be apart of the swearing in ceremony, when West Bengal got its first-ever woman Chief Minister.
The actor was present at the venue with her father, the renowned actor Ranjit Mallick. Says a super excited Koel, “This is the first time that I am witnessing a swearing in ceremony and it’s like a dream come true for me. This is an astonishing feeling. I cannot believe that I have witnessed history at such close quarters.” Ask her if she managed to exchange a few words with the new CM and the actor shyly confesses, “No, I did not get a chance to do so. But I am so proud of her achievement.”
